Weddings in New South Wales will be permitted from next week, but with a maximum of only five guests.
The COVID-19 lockdown ban on gatherings has effectively halted weddings, but from 12:01am on Friday, September 3, residents can get married with a group of up to five guests. You are also allowed to have the celebrant conducting the wedding, as well as a photographer. These numbers would not be included in the five guests.

The NSW Premier has advised that businesses and industry needed to prepare for a 70 percent vaccination level throughout the state before we can start to see restrictions lift further.
